nice scenery.
I love IR.
I would crop off that tree on the left (it' brings nothing to the composition) to off center the composition and the lake at the bottom, about 1 cm.
the pic seems a bit tilted ?

Beautiful. Works really well with the IR filter. Additionally, the curvature in the back makes it look like a wideangle shot. Love it. No crits.

fav: thanks for your critic. i had a hard time deciding how to crop. you are right, the tree is useless .. but the whole thing looked unbalanced, when NOT exactly centered .. so i kept it that way.

Lovely setting, but a more dynamic angle would have created a more interesting image. Basically the building isn't showing anything beyond its' facade.

It seems there are a few gfx'ers who will suggest an 'off-center' crop whenever a picture doesnt adheer to the oh so strict rule of thirds. This is a nice example of an image that works well with the building centered amongst the trees. Most photographers on this site are reasonably experienced and are aware of these 'rules' so people please don't turn into a bunch of annoying robots just for the sake of criticising someones picture.

Anyway...I love this picture, the colours are amazing and it reminds me of a Hans Cristian Anderson story. The curvature (as already mentioned) is great and the overall composition is very pleasing. Just my $0.02

Beautiful is that the correct word...for a shot of a German cemetery crematorium...

Well, well I will then not mention the war nor the center position... :p

Have to admit that the central position does work well here.

Wish the reflection of the "crematorium" was fully visible in the lake too! The top part is unfortunitely not there.

Also the lawn in front looks very white without details. I guess it still adds to the great mood you have conveyed in this post so...

Please take this in the right way! ;) I do like your style! (thumbup)

A beautiful image!! The centered composition is fine but as Patrick said, a few elements seem a bit overexposed. Possibly trying a neutral gray filter might have brought out a few details in those areas.

Overall a very beautiful, well composed shot. Only real crits are 1) the image is a bit crooked, and 2) I wish the focus were a bit sharper. Again, nice work. +7

nice... looks like it's winter again :)
Is it just me or is there some barrel distortion present?

You know I'm a wallpaper junkie for all your work kiddo ;) Personally I like the overexposed areas as they push the 'fantasy' aspect of it. I'm reminded of the fantasy settings of movies like Legend and The Cell....so surreal...(thumbup)

is it on the earth? ;)

to sdavis75: the infra photography is very special kind of photography, and infra filters makes photos a little bit blured, so i think this image is very good with respect to sharpness ;)

Elite, GFXartist sponsor ThruMyEyez and Elite, GFXartist sponsor sdavis75: ir photography doesn't work like normal shooting. normal filters don't work well in addition to the IR filter. i once tried a polarizer and the hoya-ir together ... let just say: i'll never try it again.these filters were built to support normal wavelength, not the ~700-800 nanometer infrared is using
